Jeff serves as Pastor at Emmanuel Christian Reformed Church since 2016. He has led ministry initiatives helping the congregation grow spiritually, maintain its robust ministry to the community, and continue partnerships to spread the Gospel internationally in difficult seasons of transition. His experience leading churches through change is invaluable. Jeff provides biblical counsel and support and individuals and families navigate the difficulties and opportunities life brings them.

Jeff served as Co-Founder of WellSpirit Consulting Group, providing training and consulting services to businesses and nonprofits. WellSpirit focuses on its proprietary model *Five Drivers for Thriving Business:* 1) remarkable customer experience; 2) attentive, responsible employees; 3) sustainable cash flow; 4) operations that work; and 5) committed, competent leaders – all sustained by care for people.

Prior to pastorship, Jeff served in significant roles at Bible League International from 2005-2012. As Executive Director for Global Ministries, he gave strategic oversight to Bible League's $17M global ministry operations across 50+ countries. Jeff designed and implemented a new structure for ministry operations both at the international headquarters and on the field.

Earlier in his career, Jeff spent 14 years leading field mission efforts in West Africa with the International Mission Board. As a ministry leader and church planting strategist, he mobilized teams and resources to start churches and leaders across West Africa. Jeff's cross-cultural experience gives him an important global perspective.

Education

Jeff holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. His research on servant leadership and organizational culture provides valuable insights into leadership, personal development, and organizational effectiveness. Jeff's research appears in scholarly books, peer-reviewed journals and presented at academic conferences. He served on the editorial board for the International Journal of Leadership Studies.

Jeff completed extensive graduate coursework at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in areas including church music, church history, philosophy of religion, biblical studies, theology and missiology. This seminary foundation underpins his thoughtful Christian perspective.

Before pursuing mission work, Jeff served in music ministry roles at multiple churches. He conducted choirs, led worship, and oversaw music programs. Jeff holds a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor of Music Education. His background in music infuses his work with creativity and artistry.
